Community Initiatives
Working with
local partners
The Lolldaiga Valley Partnership is a collaboration between Lolldaiga Valley and the communities of Umande and Muramati to our south.
An innovative business model is using ecosystem services finance, community-based enterprises and annual financial contributions from our nature housing initiative to support habitat restoration and community development initiatives.
The Partnership has already created over 60 local jobs and expects to generate at least 200 jobs for local community members in the next 5-10 years.

Driving sustainable economic activity
In addition to the direct employment opportunities, Lolldaiga Valley is also catalysing significant further economic activity in the immediate local area through opportunities such as indigenous tree out-grower partnerships, sustainable wood fuel operations and small-scale organic farms.
Lolldaiga Valley’s many restoration and conservation initiatives are helping to strengthen the long-term resilience of local habitats and wildlife populations, safeguarding a resource which is essential to the local tourism industry.
